About
I am a doctoral student in Museology at the Department of Art and Culture Studies, University of Jyväskylä (Finland) and I am in the MEMORNET’s doctoral school (the Finnish Research Education Network on the Society’s Memory Functions).
In my research I investigate the possibilities of using new media in small museums in the Finnish context and plan the ViMuseo.fi system for small, local history museums in Finland. Having a background in Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology (MA), I have been interested in using new design methods (combining ethnographic methods, participatory design and action research).
