About
At the moment (2011-2012) I am working on a research project concentrating on mobile communication in the rural context in South India.
Before my current research I have done research on online gambling as a cultural phenomenon (2009-2010), South Korean new media culture (2006-2009), and on Orientalism (Edward Said) and Occidentalism in the South Indian context (PhD project 2003-2006).
In general, I am interested in the the human-technology interaction, cultural aspects of new media and future technologies.
